[December 2nd, 2006]
The Utrecht Speelt Uit-Tour is getting along nicely... Yesterday, it was Gouda's turn to watch their selection of Utrecht's finest bands ;). Together with Pien Feith and Try Drowning, we enjoyed a night of nice people, fully loaded refridgerators, nice food and ofcourse, nice music! Once again we'd like to thank So What for their hospitality.

Aestrid was featured on Utracks radio last Wednesday. We spoke some words, played some of our favorite music and Bo was kind enough to play a song live. This song will be on the new album, you can listen to all this here.

Don't forget to come to the Utracks-Award live show at Ekko next Saturday! Aestrid will be playing first, starting at 20:00!

Aestrid is one of the five nominated bands for the Utracks Award 2006! All these bands will perform December 9th at Ekko. The winner will also be chosen that night.

[September 27th, 2006]
Its been a long time...
The first shows for Utrecht Speelt Uit were announced this week. So far, Aestrid is scheduled for 2 shows, more will be announced soon! Our last 2 shows at De IJsbreker in Leusden and Vera in Groningen were good opportunities for us to try out some new material. It seems that a lot of people like the new songs!
Especially the Vera show was a lot of fun. Vera was very crowded and it is just a great venue...
Ofcourse, we are still in the middle of recording our 2nd full-length, but the recordings didn't have priority because of recent gigs. So far, all the drums are finished, and we're now focusing on bass. We're not in a hurry as you may have noticed, and the Utrecht Speelt Uit Tour will likely cause some further delays... So it seems that patience is the key-word here...
And last but not least, Aestrid will support The Veils on their upcoming show at Tivoli next Wednesday!

Aestrid will be playing at the Vera Downstage in Groningen on September the 23th. Also, recordings for the new album will start next week! We'll do our best to keep you updated...
